Symptom
If there are more than 99 assemblies (phantom or directly-produced assemblies) on one level, the system generates a MESSAGE_TYPE_X dump in FORM routine PLMZ_STPO_CHK when you create a collective order.
Other terms
Short dump, SAPLCOSD, LCOSDFP1, CO01, CO02, program termination
Reason and Prerequisites
The bill of material (BOM) of the order contains more than 99 assemblies on at least one level. However, the counter for assemblies on a level, AUFWG, only has two places and it overflows if there are more than 99 assemblies on one level. This causes a dump in the operation assignment of the components.
After you implement this note
Each level can now contain a maximum of 9999 assemblies in the total network. However, the individual orders of the collective order can still contain a maximum of only 99 assemblies for each level.
Solution
1. Implement the program corrections. 2. Afterwards, or after this note has been implemented with Support Packages, implement Note 490430 and Note 490906.
If this note or Notes 490430 and 490906 do not correct the problem, adjust the BOMs accordingly.
If this is also not possible, refer to SAP for a general solution to this problem in the form of a modification (Note 129226). To do this, send a message to SAP with the component XX-RC-PP (Remote Consulting PP) or XX-EOD-PP (Expertise On Demand PP). In general, a maximum of 9999 assemblies for each level are possible with this modification. However, some database tables must be converted for this. Since you should not implement these changes without serious consideration, Note 129226 is not released generally for customers; instead it is sent by request only. |
